(Santa Rosa, CA – February 12, 2015) George Petersen Insurance Agency is excited to kick off 2015 with a series of new hires and promotions at its Santa Rosa office.
Ron Zanetti, Commercial Producer
Ron Zanetti joins George Petersen Insurance Agency as a producer in the commercial lines department, where he will focus on agribusiness and farm insurance. Ron originally joined the agency in 1986, and has returned after spending several years pursuing a career in horse training, technology, and wine. Ron serves on the board of directors for the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association, where he also leads their Amateur Exhibitor Committee. He also volunteers at Giant Steps, 4H Horse Shows, and other ag-related events in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties.
Jeff Okrepkie, Commercial Producer
Jeff Okrepkie, CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist), has been promoted to a producer role within George Petersen Insurance Agency’s commercial lines department, where he will focus on the brewery, construction, and legal industries, as well as contract and commercial bonds. He originally joined the agency as bond department administrator in 2011. Prior to joining George Petersen Insurance Agency, Jeff served as a commercial producer with Wells Fargo Insurance Services in Scotts Valley. Jeff also serves on the board of the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50, the Active 20-30 US & Canada, and the Sonoma County Children’s Village.
Colby Ritch, Employee Benefits Producer
Colby Ritch has joined George Petersen Insurance Agency’s employee benefits team, where he will consult with clients to develop and implement employee benefits programs. A graduate of CSU Chico and a second generation insurance agent, Colby previously spent 12 years at Ritch Insurance Services, where he focused on life insurance, long-term care, disability insurance, and employee benefits for a wide range of business sectors. Colby is also a member of the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50 where he served as the club’s president in fall of 2014.
Nadine Wilson, Employee Benefits Account Manager
Nadine Wilson has joined George Petersen Insurance Agency’s employee benefits team as an account manager, bringing with her nearly a decade of experience in the employee benefits field. She began her insurance career in 2006 at Wells Fargo Insurance Services (formerly ABD Insurance & Financial Services), where she worked to develop strong relationships with clients and carriers. She has also served as an employee benefits account manager at Hover Insurance Services as well as Rogers & Young Insurance Services, where she excelled at working with clients on all enrollment, renewal, and claims issues.
Cheryl Griggs, Bond Department Administrator
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Cheryl Griggs joins George Petersen Insurance Agency as bond department administrator, where she will use her comprehensive understanding of surety bonds to lead the day-to-day operations of the agency’s bond department. A seasoned veteran with an in-depth understanding of both contract and commercial bonds, Cheryl’s past positions include controller at Jaffee Bonds & Insurance Services, assistant branch manager at HCC Surety Group, and her most recent position as bond manager at Don Ramatici Insurance, where she marketed and managed all of the agency’s bond transactions for several years.
