Prior to Joining George Petersen Insurance Agency in 2020, Jim spent ten years working for Blue Shield of California and Principal Financial Group in the San Francisco Bay Area, as an Account Executive for Small Groups. He was responsible for marketing medical, dental, vision and life products to independent agents and brokers. Subsequently, he worked for ten years at various Brokerage houses including Willis Insurance Services and Edgewood Partner Insurance Company , which provided him with the knowledge of working on the “broker” side of the business. He learned how to evaluate clients’ concerns, goals and objectives, and then help them secure the right coverage at the most favorable cost. When not in the office Jim enjoys spending his time with his family and friends either hiking, golfing or going to various sporting events.
