Laurie is a native of Humboldt County. She started in the insurance industry in 1985. In 2001 she moved to Dake Insurance Agency which merged with George Petersen Insurance Agency in 2005. Outside of the office Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, taking trips in their 5th wheel and an occasional round of golf. Laurie is also a member of the local Elks Lodge and volunteers her time there.
