Scott has been with George Petersen Insurance since 2017. He is a fifth generation native of Shasta County and started his insurance career in 2005 with another local Redding firm as a Commercial Broker. In 2008 he became a State Farm Agent, for which he remained for nearly a decade. Although he enjoyed running his own agency, he preferred the dynamics of the commercial broker market. In addition to writing property and casualty business, Scott is also licensed in Life, Health, and Disability insurance. This allows him to provide a full range of personal and group benefits for his clients. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and twin children. He plays golf and enjoys the outdoors. He has been a member of Redding West Rotary for 15 years and serves on the Board of Directors for Northern Valley Catholic Social Service.
